Maj. William "Bill" Lee Nash, U.S. Army retired, of Bolivia, died on Jan. 15, 2013, at his home.
Maj. Nash was born Oct. 5, 1948, in Sullivan, Ind., the son of William Lewis Nash and Emma Dix Nash Runion.
He was retired from the U.S. Army after 20 years of service to the country that he loved. Maj. Nash loved gardening, woodworking, fishing and his family.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Surviving is his mother, Emma Nash Runion of Boiling Spring Lakes; two sons, William L. Nash of Killeen, Texas, and Jeffery Nash and wife Diana of Brownsville, Texas; a daughter, E. Christina Litton and husband Peter of San Diego; three sisters, Susanna Jean Nash of Ledyard, Conn., Mary-Anne Wilder of Oak Island, and Deborah Gustafson and husband Albert of New Bern, and five grandchildren, Alexis Nash, Philip Nash, Carlos Nash, Rebecca Nash, and Chase Litton.
