Sabra Joyce Meza, 73, our beloved mother and grandmother, went home to meet Jesus Christ, her savior, on Dec. 28, 2012 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville surrounded by her loving family.
Joyce was a lifelong resident of Brownsville, Texas.
Joyce was a devoted mother, and grandmother who gave her all for her family.
Joyce had been employed at the Fort Brown Restaurant, Holiday Inn Cheers Lounge and retired from the Toucan Lounge in Brownsville, Texas.
Mrs. Meza was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Augustus and Edna Ann Eads.
Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of her are her children, Mary Frances Valdez (Daniel), Robert Lee Bowman, Kenneth Lynn Bowman and Susan Denise Bowman; grandchildren, Daniel David Valdez Jr. (Angela), Steven Michael Valdez (Stephanie), Samantha Sabra Bowman, Robert Lee Bowman Jr., Kenneth Lynn Bowman II, and Lisa Marie Bowman; great-grandchildren, Anna Bella Nichole, Alexander Dean Dixon, Cyrina Rosalinda Rodriguez and Cadence Grace Bowman, and brother, William Roy Eads (Mikey)
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012 at the East Chapel at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home.
There will be a Chapel Service at 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 31, 2012 at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home East Chapel.
Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
