Mr. Cecil Kerr Floyd Jr., 84, of Brownsville, Texas, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2013.
He was born in Lexington, S.C. He had been a longtime Brownsville resident, and was a fisherman until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife Felicitas; Brothers and Sisters: Mrs. Mary A. Page of Alabama, Mrs. Dorothy Fay Ward of Florida, and Mrs. Lily Bell Dana of Illinois; Children: Cecil Kerr Floyd III, Sandra Saenz Floyd, Richard Kerr Floyd, and Daniel Diaz; Grandchildren: Daisy Saenz, Amy Saenz, Daniel Diaz Jr., Christopher Diaz, Kassandra Diaz, and Ruby Diaz.
Cecil was a Veteran of the Korean War.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 15 at Trinity Baptist Church, 505 Old Alice Rd., Brownsville, TX 78520.
