Willie Burl Killebrew, 85, of Isola, Mississippi went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014.|
Mr. Killebrew is survived by his loving wife Angelita G. Killebrew of 62 years of marriage, his children Janet (Ronnie) Doyle, Billy (Beatrize) Killebrew, and Patsy S. (Robert Gonzales) Garza, grandchildren, Jessica Lea Garza, (Leo Lopez), Brian D. Doyle, Aaron M. Gonzales, Marcos A. Gonzales , Billy Killebrew Jr and two great-grandchildren, Briann Lopez, Mia Lopez and Lauren Killebrew, step-grandson, Terry Doyle (Kay) and two step-grandchildren Eden and Daniel Doyle. Brothers; Joseph A. Killebrew, Hugh Killebrew, sister Minnie Lee Avery and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Killebrew served in the U.S. Army and retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
Viewing and visitation was held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will continue at noon today, Friday, Feb. 07, 2014.
Burial will follow at the Rio Grande State Veterans Cemetery in Mission, Texas at 3 p.m.
Serving as pallbearers are: Aaron M. Gonzales, Marcos A. Gonzales, Billy Killebrew, Billy Killebrew Jr., Robert Gonzales, and Ronnie Doyle.
