Albert R. Garza, 89, entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 9, 2014, at his residence in Brownsville, Texas surrounded by his loving family.|
Albert was a lifetime resident of Brownsville. He was a proud Army veteran of both WW II and the Korean War.
Albert is preceded in death by his wife, Rita G. Garza; a daughter, Enelina Harris; and a son, Alberto Garza Jr.
Albert is survived by his children: Diana Nelson, Ruth (Manuel) Balderas, Norma Linda Parker, Guadalupe (Arthur) Nelson, and Severo (Margie) Garza; a son-in-law, Jay W. Harris; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today, Tuesday, June 10th in the West Chapel at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home with the recitation of the holy rosary scheduled for 7 p.m. this evening at Darling-Mouser.
The Funeral Service is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 11th in the West Chapel at Darling-Mouser. All services will conclude after the service and in accordance with Albert's wishes cremation will follow.
