Obituary Condolences

Mr. Benito Gonzalez, Sr., 90, an Army Veteran of World War II, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2014 in San Antonio, Texas.

Mr. Gonzalez is preceded in death by his loving wife, Lydia D. Gonzalez; his father and mother, Santos and Anita Rojas; and his two brothers, Santiago Rojas and Jose Angel Rojas.

He is survived by his sister, Lilia Garza; his sons, Noe (Mary) Gonzalez and Benito "Benny" (Stella) Gonzalez Jr., and daughters Norma (Robert) Santa Ana and Ana (Curtis) Peterson. Mr. Gonzalez is also survived by twelve grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren, his sister-in-law, Lisa Rojas, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 12th in the East Chapel at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7 p.m. Thursday evening at Darling-Mouser.

The Funeral Mass will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2014 at St. Luke's Catholic Church with interment to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
