Jerril "Jay" Horrell, 35, of Boiling Spring Lakes, died Friday, October 5, 2012.
Jay was born in Moore County on March 10, 1977, and was a son of Karen M. Horrell of Oak Island, and the late Everett Jerril Horell.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Jennifer Horrell; and son, Jay Horrell of the home.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at First Baptist Church Oak Island with the Rev. Charlie Carter officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Jay was one of my best friends. It's been over 10 years and I still think about him everyday. I still can't believe he's gone.
