George Edgar Eller, 84, of Oak Island, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.
He was born Aug. 7, 1928, in Forsyth County, the son of the late George W. Eller and Mattie Robins Eller.
Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Dorothy "Dottie" Shepherd Eller; a son, Michael Eller of Oak Island; and two step-grandchildren.
A memorial service was at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, at First Baptist Church of Oak Island with the Rev. Charlie Carter and the Rev. Rick Ables officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Oak Island, Building Fund, 4608 East Oak Island Drive, Oak Island, NC 28465.
