My prayers go out the family during this sad time for you. Mr. Skiver was one of my favorite teachers at Alamance School. He helped me through some difficult lessons in History and was always so kind to me. He also was principal at Southeast and my children were able to know him as well. He was a very respected man and a caring person. My heart will be with you and God will help you through this difficult time.

Mr.Skiver was my principal AND my neighbor in Olde Forest for many years. I did NOT want to live next to my principal when we moved here from Colorado, but he was the nicest most laid back man! He had a huge love for cats, and had about 15 of them, had a special house out back of his yard for them, and I loved playing with them. He always made popcorn with a special machine he had and brought it over to us..I enjoyed the years we lived next to him, he was a kind, gentle man.
