Floyd Draughon Sr.

Floyd Draughon Sr. of Maple Shade, N.J., and formerly of Jersey City, N.J., died on Monday Feb. 4, 2013.
He was born Dec. 29, 1930, in Dunn, to Oscar and Lessie Draughon.
He is survived by three sons, Henry of Garland, Texas, Glenn of Clayton, and Randall of Jersey City, N.J.; three daughters, Marlene Jackson of Supply, Doreen Haynes of Newark, N.J., and Melanie Draughon of Palmyra, N.J.; one brother, James Draughon of Supply; and two sisters, Essie Mae McLean of Benson, and Callie Draughon of Goldsboro; and eight grandchildren. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be on Friday, Feb. 8, at Bayview Cemetery in Jersey City, N.J.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the , c/o Alzheimer's Research, 225 N. Michigan Ave., 17th Floor, Chicago, IL 60601-7633.
