Mrs. Judith Ann Burns, 72, of Bolivia, died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at SECU Hospice House of Brunswick.
She was born July 19, 1941, in Bangor, Maine, the daughter of the late Dean and Erma White Howells.
Mrs. Burns retired from the Brunswick County District Attorney's office. She was affiliated with the Eastern Trust and Banking for 14 years while residing in Bangor and graduated from Bangor High School.
Surviving are her husband, Herbert Burns of the home; two children, Brian Burns and wife, Mary Boston, of Alton Bay, N.H., and Mark Burns and wife, Christine Bly, of Wilmington; six grandchildren, Brian Burns Jr., Cody Burns, Justin Bly, Anica Bly, Eddie Tucker and Hawk Tucker.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at Peace Memorial Baptist Church in Winnabow, with the Rev. Hoyt King officiating.
