Pinta Bellamy Todd, 72, of Supply, died Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, at her home.
Mrs. Todd was born in Brunswick County on Feb. 15, 1941, and was the daughter of the late Reverend Norman C. Bellamy and Iona Hewett Bellamy. Pinta worked for 39 years and 10 months for Brunswick County Schools, most of which time was at Shallotte Middle School. She was also a school bus driver for 34 years. She was a member of Coastline Volunteer Rescue Squad for 12 years.
She is survived by her husband, Roy D. Todd Sr.; three sons, Roy Douglas Todd Jr. and wife Jayne, William Curtis "Murphy" Todd and wife, Jenny, Lester Todd and wife, Sonja; a daughter, Maria Robbins and husband, Brad, all of Supply; her stepmother, Almeta Bellamy of Supply; a brother, Jimmy Register of Emerald Isle; four sisters, Joann Simmons of Ash, Julia Hayes, Bonnett Fortiscue, Quintina Skipper, all of Supply; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Sunday, Oct. 13, at 3 p.m. at Sabbath Home Baptist Church with the Rev. Jason Benton officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were George Danford, Ricky Danford, Stewart Skipper, Howard Clemmons, L.R. Hayes and Jason Simmons.
The family received friends at the church prior to the service.
