Ruth Ann Collins, 60, of Supply, formerly of Herndon, Va., died Saturday, June 21, 2014, at SECU Hospice House of Brunswick.
Born in Philadelphia on May 19, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Dominic Dellarciprete and Mrs. Gladys Miller Dellarciprete of Supply.
Ruth worked as a librarian at the Floris Elementary School, then as a director of community affairs at EDS. She was also a community manager at AOL, and finally a contracts administrator at CH2M Hill. She loved fishing with the grandkids, spending time with her dog Amber, couponing, eBay and had a knack for winning contests.
Surviving in addition to her mother, are her husband, Mike Collins of Supply; son, Michael Collins Jr. (Heather), of Portland, Ore.; daughter, Jessica Lamken (Andrew), of Wilmington; two sisters, Gladys Palazzo (Jake), of Broomall, Pa., Donna Day (Dave), of Rome, Pa.; two granddaughters, Katie and Emily Lamken.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 26, at St. Brendan the Navigator Roman Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 9 to 10:45 a.m., Thursday, June 26, at the funeral home.
A visitation will be announced in Herndon at a later date.
