On Wednesday, Oct. 24, Betty L. Sisk, loving wife and mother of three children and grandmother of five passed away at age 73.
Betty was born on March 23, 1945, in McDowell County, W.Va., to Denny and Willie Mullins. On Sept. 11, 1961, she married Rector Sisk. They moved to Clinton, Md., where they raised their son and two daughters.
In 1997 Betty and Rector moved to Myrtle Beach, S.C. Betty loved her church and was a doting grandmother. Betty was adored by everyone. She was known for her beautiful smile and her kind and compassionate spirit.
Betty was preceded in death by her father; Denny; her mother, Willy; and sisters, Gloria and Doris. She is survived by her husband, Rector; her three children, Jeff, Pam and Laura; and grandchildren, Cory, Renee and Daniel West, Lauren and John Wright; and two sisters, Rita and Liz.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Presbyterian Covenant Church, 8820 Old Georgetown Road, in Sunset Beach at 3 p.m.
