Mr. Brian Keith Chestnut, 36, of Pelion, S.C., and formerly of Supply, died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012.
Brian was born in New Hanover County on Feb. 4, 1976, and was the son of Keith and Debbie Clemmons Chestnut of Supply.
He was a graduate of West Brunswick High School and proudly served with the United States Navy for six years. He was an MRI technician with Palmetto Richland Hospital of Columbia, S.C.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his daughter, Savannah Chestnut of Columbia, S.C.; sister, Megan Chestnut of Supply; two brothers, Wesley Chestnut of Michigan, and Brandon Chestnut of Supply; paternal grandmother, Connie Chestnut of Supply, maternal grandmother, Betty Clemmons of Shallotte; Godmother, June Stanley of Shallotte; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles and extended family.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at Concord United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mark Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at White Funeral and Cremation Service, 3660 Express Dr., Shallotte.
