Obituary

Charles Orlando Morris, 66, of Oak Island and formerly of Camden, S.C., died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012.
He was born in Ozark, Ala., on Sept. 11, 1946, and was the son of the late Jessiee and Hazel Johns Morris. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his son, Charles A. Morris Sr. of Oak Island; daughter, Kathleen Mason of Yorktown, Va.; step-son, Joseph Easterling of Apex; four grandchildren; and a sister, Linda of Luverne, Ala.
A memorial service was set for 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, at Oak Island Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Walter Taylor officiating.
