David Howard Woolum, 57, a U.S. Army veteran, passed away Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014, at SECU Hospice House of Brunswick in Bolivia.

He was born Dec. 8, 1956, in Welch, W.Va., to the late Davis Howard Woolum and Kathryn Ann Moye Woolum. In 1980, David married Victoria Pittman, in Dillon, S.C. They were happily married for 34 years. He enjoyed boating, marksmanship, fishing and building replica Civil War-era cannons.
He is survived by his wife, Victoria, of Supply; his daughter, Holly (John) Baker, of USAG Schweinfurt, Germany; son, David "Adam" (Sara) Woolum, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; son, Christopher Woolum of Supply; his brother, Steve (Darr) Woolum of Asheville; his five grandchildren, Timothy and Kaitlyn Southern, Caleb and Rosie Williams, and Evelyn Woolum.
