Donald G. Clark of Carolina Shores died Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, at his home.
Born on Jan. 30, 1932, in St. Cloud, Minn., he was the son of the late Donald and Edith Hampel Clark.
He graduated from Montana University, Missoula Minn., in June 1954, and served two years in the U.S. Army as a lieutenant.
He spent 36 years working in the aluminum industry for Olin Aluminum Corp. and Consolidated Aluminum. He retired to Carolina Shores in 1994 and was active in the golf community as past president of the Carolina Shores Men's Golf Association, club representative for the Grand Strand Seniors and entertainment chairman of the Players Golf Association.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret; daughter, Pam (Milan) of Hot Springs, Ark.; son, Michael (Tina); and grandsons, Grant, Alex and Jackson, of the Woodlands, Texas.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, at Lee Funeral Home.
