Douglas Lee Hewitt, 80, of the Varnamtown community in Supply, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at his home.
He was born Jan. 22, 1933, in Cumberland County, to the late Roney and Mary Holden Hewitt.
He was a United States Air Force veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Gail Lee Hewitt; daughters, Wendy Lee Hewitt of Key Largo, Fla., and Robin Lee Hewitt of Varnamtown; a sister, Ronell Selph Bell of McComb, Miss.; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be at 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, in Dixon Chapel United Methodist Church by the Rev. William "Bill" Negron. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall.
The family will receive friends from 4-5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at the church.
