Herbert Andrew Gouge, 53, of Lexington, passed away on Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem following a sudden illness.

A funeral service was at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25, in Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Gary Boling. Burial followed in Forest Hill Memorial Park.
The family received friends from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the service and at other times at the home.
Mr. Gouge was born July 27, 1959, in Vancouver, Wash., to Merlo Gouge and Margaret Elliott Gouge.
He was a former molder operator.
His parents preceded him in death.
Surviving are his loving wife of 30 years, Carol Sensabaugh Gouge of the home; a brother, Rex Allen Gouge and his wife Shirley of Burnsville; a sister, Sherry Gouge-Kirk and husband J.P., also of Burnsville; nieces, Amber Gouge, Danielle Rathbone, Ginger Rathbone and husband Bryan, and Lee Ann Beam and husband Aaron; a nephew, Rex (Bud) Gouge and his wife Megan.
A memorial service for friends and family will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at Gospel Center Baptist Church in Varnamtown.
