Mardis Dale Sellers, 78, of Supply, died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, at SECU Hospice House of Brunswick in Bolivia.

Mr. Sellers was born July 26, 1935, in Clinton, S.C., and was the son of the late Rev. H.M. Sellers and Faye Bishop Sellers. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Dale was a devoted Christian and enjoyed attending the Assembly Of God Church. He retired from Spring Industries of Fort Mill, S.C.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Diane Hudson Sellers of the home; a son, Chris Sellers and wife Leticia, of Fayetteville; and a granddaughter, Hannah; three brothers, Clyde Sellers of Johnson City, Tenn., Stan Sellers of Rockingham, Tony Sellers of Texas; a sister, Judy Danish of San Antonio; and his devoted pets, Maddie Grace and Cleopatra.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, Dec. 15, at White Funeral and Cremation Service Chapel in Shallotte with Woody Pierce officiating. The family received friends before the service at the funeral home.
Graveside services were Monday afternoon, Dec. 16, at the Eastside Cemetery in Rockingham.
