Nora Grace Milligan, 83, of Bolivia passed away Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington.
Born in Flint, Mich., she was a daughter of the late Theodore Alfonso and Mabel Easter Abbott Marx. She was retired from the Michigan Bell Telephone Co. and more recently she worked for several years as a unit secretary at Brunswick Community Hospital. In addition to her parents, Nora was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, George W. Milligan, and two brothers, Jim Marx and Bob Marx.
Surviving are three daughters, Cindy Strutski of Bolivia, Kathy Fairchild of Little River, S.C., and Cheryl Johnson and husband, Steve, of Oscoda, Mich.; brother, Ted Marx Jr. of Flint; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and her canine companion, "Mickey-Bear."
Nora's services will be private at her request.
