Mark Eric Mason, 69, of Bolivia, died Wednesday, April 2, 2014.

He was born Dec. 24, 1944, in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, to the late William G. and Bette Sturgeon Mason. He was formerly from Medford, N.J., a longtime resident of Brick Landing in Ocean Isle Beach, and recently a resident of Bolivia.
He served in the Army from 1966 to 1969 and was a Vietnam veteran. Mark was a member of the Calabash VFW Post No. 7288 and was a past member of Brick Landing Golf Club. He retired in 2004. He was a wonderful husband and a great friend who was always generous with his time and talents to friends and neighbors. He was an avid golfer and woodworker all of his life. He will be dearly missed
Surviving are his wife, Deborah Mason; three sons, James of Woodstown, N.J., Daryl and wife, Amy, of Mount Laurel, N.J., and Timothy of Leesburg, N.J.; six grandchildren, Lily, Eli, Liam, Colin, Ryan and Nicole; and a great-granddaughter, Harmony.
No services are planned at this time.
