James "Hal" Collins, 59, of Conway, S.C., died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at Conway Medical Center.
He was born in Conway, a son of the late Willie Elmo Collins and Bonnie Dunn Collins.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Pam Collins of Conway; one daughter, Beth Collins Cribb of Conway; one son, Joshua Hal Collins of Conway; three step-sons, Justin Carter, Seth, and Scooter Carter all of Conway; four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; two brothers, Thomas Collins (Ann) and Robbie Collins (Mildred), all of Conway; one sister, Patricia Cannon of Conway; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel. Burial followed in Oakey Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery.
