Margaret Ellen Miller, 81, of Lincoln, NE, formerly of Brush, CO, passed away on January 20, 2013.
Margaret was born March 24, 1931, to Orlan Maynard and Sara Boyce Toole in Lovell, Wyoming. She married Edwin Charles Miller January 19, 1952. Ed and Margaret lived most of their married life in the Brush area. They farmed for 16 years in Hillrose. In 1971 they moved to Brush where they worked as live-in managers of the Best Western Motel.
Margaret also worked a number of years as a secretary at State Farm insurance in Brush. In 2007, they moved to Lincoln, NE. Margaret was very involved in her church with music, in the women's organization and as a teacher in Sunday School. She also enjoyed supporting her children and grandchildren in their many activities.
Margaret shared many stories about growing up in the Big Horn Mountains. When asked if she wanted to go somewhere, she always said, "Take me for a drive in the mountains."
Margaret is survived by four children, David (Angela) Miller of Trenton, Ohio, Kathy (Ronald) Hill of Lincoln, NE, Chuck (Norma) Miller of Brush, CO, and Mark (Kathy) Miller of Loveland, CO; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and her only sister, Donna M. Weir.
Memorial services are scheduled for January 30, 2013, at 11 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 336 Cherry Street, Fort Morgan, CO.
