Rozella May (Riemenschneider) Wyman, 71 of Lindon, passed away on March 3, 2013 at her home.
Rozella was born March 4, 1941, in Flagler, CO to John and Dora (Cole) Riemenschneider, the sixth of eight children.
She graduated from Lindon High School in 1959.
On September 6, 1959, she was united in marriage to Ronald Wyman in Akron, CO. To this union three children were born: Ronette, Connie, and Wayne.
Rozella assisted Ron on the farm, milking cows, raising chickens and sheep, helping with calving, and everything else needed on the farm. In the mid 1980's, she started an upholstery/wood refinishing business, which she continued until 2010.
Rozella enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and embroidery. She also enjoyed putting puzzles together. She raised and dressed chickens for her entire family every year, reluctantly giving up that job as her health declined.
Most of all, Rozella enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Vernon Riemenschneider; brothers-in-law Dean Wyman, Jay Wyman, Robert Schenk, and Alvin Jefferson; and sister-in-law Helen Riemenschneider.
She is survived by husband Ron Wyman; daughters Ronette (Bill) DePue and Connie (David) Chavez; son Wayne Wyman; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; sisters Dorothy Schenk, Wilda Wyman, and Opal Jefferson; brothers Alden Riemenschneider, Verle (Buni) Riemenschneider, and Donald (Linda) Riemenschneider; sister-in-law Shirley Riemenschneider; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A memorial service will be held Friday, March 8, 2013, at the Baptist Country Chapel in Lindon, CO.
A private family inurnment will be held at the Glen Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to the Baptist Country Chapel or to the Hospice of the Plains.
