Everett "Dale" Ivey Obituary
Everett "Dale" Ivey, 74, passed away March 17, 2014 in Cheyenne.
Born January 23, 1940, in Seminole, Oklahoma to Everett and Helen (Elliott) Ivey, Dale grew up in Kansas.
He married Vicki Stalcup in Preston, Kansas, on February 21, 1960. They moved to Cheyenne in 1993, the same year he retired from his career as an oil field production foreman.
He savored his long retirement, treating every day like a Sunday. He enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, investing in the stock market, and reading history; but mostly enjoyed visiting and joking with his family.
He is remembered as being funny, kind and honest. He was loyal and an overall solid person with strong character and an outstanding work ethic.
He is survived by his beloved wife; son Richard (Pamela) Ivey; daughters Pamela (Shawn) Jaquez; and Sandra (James) Prusinowski; grandchildren Derrick and Jackson Ivey, Joseph and Paul (Erica) Herrold, and Gunnar and Kendall Jaquez; and brothers Glenn and Rick Ivey.
Services will be held Saturday, March 22, 2014, at 2 p.m., Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel, Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Gifts in Dale's memory to honor Dr. Alana Workman are suggested to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center's Cancer Center, 214 E. 23rd St, Cheyenne, WY 82001.
