Phillip Eugene ""Minute Man"" Rogers

Mr. Phillip Eugene "Minute Man" Rogers passed away Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, at Ogeechee Area Hospice.
Mr. Rogers was a member of Emmanuel Community Church and was a painter for CCI in Jesup and Coastal Industrial Contractors. He loved racing, especially NASCAR, and he loved to hunt and fish.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Leon and Waynetta Louise Barbee Rogers, and brother, Jackie Rogers.
He is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Phillip Jr. and Karen Rogers of Pembroke and Justin Rogers of Claxton; two brothers and sisters-in law, Tommy and Jan Rogers of Blitchton and Donald D. and Cindy Rogers of Jesup; three sisters, Janice Brantley of Eden, Linda Rogers of Savannah and Jodi Rogers of Eden; three grandchildren, Gabrielle Rogers, Cyrah Rogers and Alyssa Rogers, all of Pembroke; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 10, at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mitchell Lynn officiating. Interment will follow in Northside Cemetery.
Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
