Evangelist Ezella Murchison Stewart, age 65, of Savannah, passed into eternal rest on Friday, Dec. 21 at Memorial Health Medical Center.

She was born in Blackshear, Ga., but resided in Savannah for many years. She was employed with Stewart Plumbing Company of Savannah as manager.
She is survived by her husband Elder Johnny Lee Stewart Sr., Savannah; four daughters Mrs. Marcella (Irvin) Williams of Jacksonville, Fla., Mrs. Kanitha (George) Black, Mrs. Pamela (Oyd) Michael and Mrs. Alicia (Michael) Lee all of Savannah; two sons Mr. Johnny Lee Stewart Jr., and Mr. David Lee Stewart both of Savannah; three sisters Ms. Aleanor Nealy of Jacksonville, Fla., Mrs. Shirley Ann (Harris) Bennett of Lanier, and Ms. Luella Holmes of Pembroke; three brothers Mr. Franklin Murchison of Jacksonville, Fla., Mr. Curtis Charles (Elanie) Murchison of Temple, Texas and Mr. Charles Curtis Murchison of Fitchburg, Mass.; seven grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Evangelist Ezella Stewart will be Saturday, Dec. 29, at noon at Athens First Christ Holiness Church in Lanier. Interment will be held in Stevens Grove Cemetery in Pembroke.
