Richmond Hill
Fred Bevill Jr., 77, died Thursday, September 30, 2010 at his home.
He was born in Savannah, Ga. September 9, 1933. He was a Methodist, former member of the Landrum Lodge #48 F & AM, The Scottish Rite Consistory Valley of Savannah, Alee Shrine Temple, the Original Oriental Band Unit, and retired from Savannah Foods & Industries Inc. in 1990 after a long career.
He was preceded in death by his father Fred Bevill, mother Naomi Maner Bevill, brother Francis Scruggs Bevill, his wife of 30 years Mary Gill Bevill and eldest son Fred Louis Bevill.
He is survived by two sons, Kenneth Mitchell Bevill (Cathy) of Richmond Hill, Leonard Gill Bevill (Sandra) of Macon; four grand children, Andrew Gill Bevill, Joshua Thomas Bevill, Trey Davis and Taylor Davis.
Visitation will be Saturday October 2, 6-8 pm at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel.
Funeral service well be held Sunday, October 3, 2 pm at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Abbey on Wheaton Street.
Remembrances may be made to the Children's Hospital in Macon, at the Medical Center of Central Georgia, 858 High Street, Macon, GA 31201.
