James I. "Bubba" Hancock Jr., 50, died Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014, at home.
He lived in Richmond Hill most of his life, was a 1982 graduate of Tompkins High School and was employed by Bryan County.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Irvin and Shirley Hancock.
He is survived by his sister, Kimberly Clark of Richmond Hill; brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Michelle Hancock of Richmond Hill; three nieces, Elizabeth Hancock, Sarah Hancock and Jamie Hancock, all of Richmond Hill; one great-niece, Madison Clark; and an aunt and uncle.
The funeral is at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel.
Visitation is two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel of Richmond Hill.
