Bulloch County
Mrs. Pinkie Rawls Mikell, 74, died Monday, April 28, 2014, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center.
She was a native of Bulloch County and a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Mikell was a homemaker.
She leaves to cherish memories her husband, Eugene Mikell Jr. of Pembroke; four sons; Tony Mikell of Charleston S.C., and Billy Mikell, Danny Mikell and Jason Mikell, all of Pembroke; two daughters, Diane Shuman and Sharonda Wright, both of Cartersville; five brothers, Roscoe Rawls Jr., Gordon Rawls, Sylvester D. Rawls, Oliver Rawls and Jerome Rawls, all of Pembroke; three sisters, Doreatha Clifton of Statesboro, and Exilee Pelt and Emma Lee Robinson, both of Pembroke; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relative and friends.
The funeral is at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 3, at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church of Nevils Daisy Highway. The body will lie in state from noon-2 p.m. The Rev. Delmons White will serve as eulogist and pastor. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
