Richmond Hill
Ford Wilson, formerly of Lakewood, N.J., passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014, at home.
Mr. Wilson was a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of the Marine Rescue Squadron 7A Richmond Hill and St. Elizabeth's of Hungary Episcopal Church. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 35 years. He loved to fish and work in his yard.
He was the loving husband of Claudette Wilson; devoted father of Ford, Tonya, Tarra and Nicole; beloved brother of Roger Lance, Raymond, Barbara, Spencer, Wayne and Caroline; and grandfather of Ford, Aurora, Arman and Amber.
The funeral is at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 27, at St. Elizabeth's of Hungary Episcopal Church in Richmond Hill with Father Clark Hubbard officiating.
Visitation is two hours prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Elizabeth's of Hungary Episcopal Church, 16491 Highway 144, Richmond Hill, GA 31324.
