Mr. James Bailey, 88, of Pembroke, passed peacefully on Friday, Feb. 8 at Hospice Savannah after an extended illness.

He was a Bryan County native and a member of Boyd's Temple of Pembroke. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in World War II and the Korean War. He was a retired truck driver.

He is survived by his wife Mrs. Beverly Bailey of Pooler; his daughters Amanda Chambers (Nolan) and Beverly Corley (Willie); his sons James Mutcherson Jr.(Barbara) of Hinesville, Lenard Palmer, Lewis Corley Jr.(Salathia) of Pooler, and Larry Corley (Jenell) of Pembroke; a brother Thomas Mutcherson (Susie Mae) of Pembroke; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. James Bailey will be Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 11am at Boyd's Temple New Order Holiness Church, Ellabell, Ga., with the Rev. Gilbert Hall, Presiding and Bishop C.C. Singleton, Eulogist/Pastor. Interment will be held in Church Cemetery.
