Lawrence Edmund Andrews BUCYRUS: Memorial Services for Lawrence Edmund Andrews who died peacefully 4/5/16 in Hudson, OH will be held on Saturday at 1:00 pm June 25, 2016 in Good Hope Lutheran Church, Bucyrus, OH. Burial will follow in Brokensword Cemetery. Lawrence, a 1950 Bucyrus HS graduate, earned a degree from Ohio State University in 1955 in Metallurgical Engineering. He worked for Alcoa for 35 years in both Cleveland & Pittsburgh. Larry married Avonelle Bordner & loved her dearly for 59 years. He was a Mason & a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Cuyahoga Falls. He was a weekly volunteer at the Akron Ronald McDonald House. Larry was a long time active member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church in North Olmsted, participating in Habitat for Humanity. Lawrence was born in Bucyrus, OH, the only child of Estelle Berry Andrews Lutz, a school teacher, & Arthur Edmund Andrews, a pattern maker. Larry became a craftsman & woodworker who taught his children the value of hard work. His grandchildren would seek his help to fix anything. Larry is survived by his wife Avie; son David Arthur Andrews (Rose Orient Andrews) of Silver Lake Village, OH; daughters Laurie Elizabeth Andrews Nagel (Jeffrey Nagel) of St. Charles, MO, and Avonelle Lynn Andrews Leonard (Thomas Leonard) of Fort Collins, CO.; Nine grandchildren; Luke Egan Andrews, Margaret Andrews Sherry, Clark Ian Andrews, Emma Noelle Andrews, Maxwell Andrews Nagel, Jaxon Andrews Nagel, Madeline Elizabeth Nagel, Jacquelyn Michelle Leonard Hays,Thomas James Leonard; and one great grandchild: Avonelle Erin Hays. The Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home, 215 N. Walnut St. Bucyrus is assisting the family with arrangements.

Sylvia J. Crall MARION: Sylvia J. Crall, age 79 of Marion, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2016 at the Presidential Center. She was preceded in death by her mother Pearl (Oberlander) Crall in 1998 and her father Clark Crall in 1947. She is survived by a brother Earl (Bonnie) Crall in Brook Park, Ohio. Sylvia was a lifelong member of Central Christian Church and she attended as long as she was able. She worked many years at Marca Industries and participated in the Marca programing. Funeral Services will be on Friday June 24, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Rev. Merlyn Winters. Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Bucyrus, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home on friday one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Central Christian Church, 421 Mt. Vernon Ave., Marion, Ohio 43302. Arthur M. Guttenberg UPPER SANDUSKY: Arthur M. Guttenberg, age 81, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at his home in Upper Sandusky. Art was born on December 29, 1934 in Toledo, Ohio to Herman & Theresa (Eishen) Guttenberg. He married Darlene P. Smaltz on September 23, 1956 in Bucyrus, Ohio, and she passed away on April 1, 2015. He is survived by a daughter, Joy (Tom) Fuller of Helena, Ohio, 2 grandchildren, Valerie (Chad) Dillon of Fostoria, Krysta (Jordan) Endicott of Findlay, 2 great grandchildren Jayce and Mason, and 2 step great grandchildren, Jordyn and Jacqui. Art is also survived by 2 brothers, Herman (Margaret) Guttenberg of Kinston, Tennessee, Stanley "Larry" Guttenberg of Bucyrus, and two sisters, Joan Forman of Newark, Ohio, and Rosemary Parker of Cocoa, Florida. Art was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and a son Jeffrey A., and two sisters, Sharon Skinner and Carolyn Desgranges. Art was owner and operator along with his wife Darlene, of Guttenberg Camper Sales of Nevada for 34 years. He served for 11 years with the Army Reserve. He was a member of the Wyandot County Historical Board for many years. He enjoyed spending his winters in Florida, camping, playing bingo, taking care of his yard, going for rides in his golf cart, and going out to eat. He was known for his ability to tell a good story, and for his all or nothing nature when it came to work or anything that he was involved with in the community. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Services for Arthur M. Guttenberg will be held at 11:00am Monday, June 27, 2016, at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, with the Rev. Jim Stauffer officiating. Burial will follow at Nevada Cemetery, Nevada Ohio, where a military graveside service will be conducted by the Upper Sandusky Color Guard. Visitations will be held on Sunday June 26, from 1:00pm to 5:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky. Memorial contributions may be made to Wyandot County Historical Association, Upper Sandusky Parks, or a charity of the Donor's Choice and can be sent to Lucas-Batton, 476 S. Kaiser, Anna Louise  
Anna Louise Kaiser UPPER SANDUSKY: Anna Louise Kaiser, age 95, of Upper Sandusky, and formerly of Nevada, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 11:31pm at the Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky. Anna was born on June 6, 1921 in Crane Township, Wyandot County, Ohio, to Adam and Frances (Dible) Koehler. She married Lewis Kaiser on January 9, 1944 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Upper Sandusky, and he passed away on July 23, 2010. Surviving are 4 sons, Gary (Gail) Kaiser of West Milton, Ohio, Rev. Dairel (Cindy) Kaiser of Coshocton, Ohio, Mark (Tammy) Kaiser of Nevada and Joseph Kaiser of Fremont. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Anna was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Kaiser, and a brother John Koehler, and a sister Regina Gerber. Anna was a homemaker and helped her husband on the family farm. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Upper Sandusky. For hobbies, she enjoyed cooking, crocheting, traveling, and going on trips with the Senior Citizens, and spending time visiting with family and friends. Funeral services for Anna Louise Kaiser will be at 11:00am Tuesday, June 28, at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with the Rev. Joe Trester officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitations will be Monday, June 27, 2016 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky. Janfrey "Jan" B. Knisely GALION: Janfrey "Jan" Byron Knisely, 69, passed away unexpectedly June 17, 2016. Jan was born to the late Robert and Helen (Spaide) Knisely November 8, 1946 in Bucyrus Ohio. Jan is preceded in death by parents and half sister Betty Jones. Jan is survived by daughter, Amanda M. Knisely; brother, Dennis C. Knisely; sister, Roberta (John) Bender; half-sister, Rita Koprowski; and close cousin David C. Spaide. Jan was a graduate of Bucyrus High School and continued his education at Ohio Northern for a Bachelors in Business. Jan loved the outdoors and was an avid fly fisherman. Jan was also a member of the Moose and member of the Masonic Lodge. He served with the National Guard for six years. Jan also was a third generation employee at Knisely Real Estate and Insurance Company. The family will be receiving friends Tuesday June 21, 4-6 PM at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow calling hours at 6 PM. Memorials may be made to the Crawford County Humane Society. Moments of remembrance may be left online at www.munzpirnstill.com

Kocher, Earl  
Earl E. Kocher BUCYRUS: Earl E. Kocher, 94 of Bucyrus passed away early Sunday June 19, 2016 at home. Earl was born Feb. 15, 1922 in Powhatan Point, OH, Monroe County to the late Harry Everett and Frieda Caroline (Bigler) Kocher. He was married Oct. 8, 1943 to Mary (Pettit) Kocher who preceded him in death on May 27, 2014. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by three grandchildren and sister in law Adaline Kocher. Earl and Mary together had two children; Allen Everett Kocher (Anna) of Greenville, OH and Brenda Kay Kocher Young (David) of Lykens; five grandchildren, Michael Kocher (Carol), Kevin Kocher (Sheena), Marc Young, Brent Young (Melissa), and Shaun Young (fiance' Kalen Skasney); nine great grandchildren; Maisie Kocher, Alyssa Kocher, Andrew Kocher, Ian Young, Elijah Kocher, Samuel Young, Brayden Kocher, Alivia Young, and Everett Young; one great great grandchild Aubrie Feliciano; and one brother Ray Kocher of Bucyrus. Earl moved with his brother Ray and parents to Crawford County when Earl was 5 years old. He graduated from Holmes Liberty School in 1940 and operated KOcher's Feed Grinding Service until he entered the U.S. Army. During WW II, he served in Second Infantry Division in Italy. Upon returning from the service, Earl worked in Mt. Gilead Ice Plant as an Assistant Manager. He was employed at Swan Rubber Company for 41 years. When Earl retired in 1987, he was the Production Manager of Reclaim and Plastics. He also retired as Treasurer of Swan Credit Union in 1992. Earl was a member of Martin Luther Lutheran Church and was a past Deacon and Superintendent of the Sunday School. Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Nelsen officiating, burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 until 7:00 pm. Memorials may be made to the church or the Parkinson's Foundation and expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
