Elsie Ann Saunders
UPPER SANDUSKY: Elsie Ann Saunders, age 87 of Upper Sandusky, formerly of Parma, died at Fairhaven Health Care Community on Monday February 11, 2013 at 4:45 pm. She was born December 10, 1925 in Cleveland, OH to Perry and Mary (Zajac) Fedyk. She married Keith Willis Saunders on February 2, 1944 and he preceded her in death on February 4, 1998.
Mrs. Saunders is survived by her children, Sheryl (Richard) Grafmiller, Upper Sandusky, OH, Linda (Steve) Kelley, Westerville, OH, Brian Saunders, Upper Marlboro, Maryland, Diane Saunders, Cape Coral, FL; eight grandchildren, Kimberly (Tim) Schreck, Matthew (Annette) Grafmiller, Shannyn Swinehart, Todd (Alena) Dailey, Kristen (Jon) Blum, Ian Saunders, Kyle (Brittiany) Saunders, Mi-Mi Saunders; six great grandchildren, Robert Schreck, Ellie Swinehart, Andrew Schreck, Jacob Swinehart, Karsten Blum, Annika Blum.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Olga Rauscher, Justina Smith Campbell, Amelia Spisak, Helen Bosak and brother Steven Fedyk.
Mrs. Saunders was a former member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Parma. When she moved to Upper Sandusky in 1998 she became a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Saunders was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, flower gardening, leather tooling, crocheting, and other creative activities. Elsie had a strong dedication to her husband Keith and her family.
Family will receive friends on Friday, February 15, 2012 from 2-6 pm in BRINGMAN CLARK Funeral Home, Upper Sandusky, OH. A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 16, 2012 at 11:00 am in BUSCH Funeral Home, Parma, OH with Pastor Joe Trester officiating. Burial will follow in the North Royalton Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10:00am until time of service on Saturday, February 16, 2012 in the funeral home.
