Nelson McHenry Obituary
NEVADA: Nelson "Junior" McHenry, 66, of Nevada passed away Tuesday evening at Riverside Hospital in Columbus. Junior was born June 15, 1946 to the late Nelson "Ward" and Mary Catherine (Ruth) McHenry.
Junior is survived by his life partner of over 30 years Margie Kline; daughter, Tabitha (Russell) Smith, Nevada; son, Wesley McHenry of Marion; daughter, Bettie-Jean Monroe of Bucyrus; grandchildren, Alexis and Nathanal McHenry, Ricky and Kaycee Smith, Randy Foreman, twin brother, Billy McHenry, Bucyrus; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Junior was a lifelong Crawford Co. resident and retired from Timken after 32 years. He was a graduate of Wynford H.S. in 1964, was a member of Martin Luther Lutheran Church and the Bucyrus Elks Lodge. Junior enjoyed gardening and in his younger years golf and bowling.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 12:00 noon in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. David Bliss officiating, burial will be in Nevada Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service.
Memorials may be made to the Dallas Twp. E.M.S. through the funeral home and expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com

I always called him J.R. We lived on Rex road in the 50's and were close neighbors to Ward and Mary. Although I was older, J.R. Billy,and I would play together. Since retirement we would see each other from time to time and always wave as we passed in our vechicles. I will miss seeing J.R.

Tabitha, Wesley, family, and friends,
Visiting “Uncle Mac” as a child and as an adult (from Buffalo) was always a highlight of my Ohio trips. The laughter and quick witted humor we shared will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
My prayers go out for him and his loved ones.

I always knew Junior as Mack. I will cherish the past 4 years I had him as a friend. Living next door to Margie, I got the chance to get to know Mack's sense of humor, and his heart. He was a good friend to Alisa and I. He will truly be missed... My prayers are with his family and Margie...
