Leahbell Miller

FINDLAY: Leahbell Miller, 90, formerly of Sycamore, died at her son's home near Vanlue on Friday, July 5, 2013.

Born in Wyandot County on June 17, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Mont and Esther (Feighner) Beard.

She married Dale Cover and later divorced. She married Wayne F. Miller on March 27, 1948 and he died on May 16, 1989.

Surviving are two sons: Norman W. (Cathy) Miller, Bloomville, OH and Joel (Bill Grose) Miller, rural Findlay; a step-daughter, Bonnie (George) Rhoad, Tiffin; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dale M. (Carol) Beard, Sycamore and Arthur L. Beard, West Palm Beach, FL.

Leahbell was preceded in death by one sister, Bonnette C. Ward and four brothers, Kenneth B., Leonard W., Neil R., and infant brother, Charles W. Beard.

Leahbell was a homemaker. She had worked at GE in Tiffin and worked on the family farm. She was a member of Baseline U.C.C., Bloomville and attended New Creation Church in Findlay. She was a former member of Rebekah Lodge in Melmore and Seneca County Farm Bureau.

There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will take place at a later date at New Creation Church in Findlay, OH with Rev. Shane Helms officiating.
