Levear L. "Pat" Groves
BUCYRUS: Levear L. "Pat" Groves, 89 years of age, of Tiffin passed away early Saturday morning in Tiffin Mercy Hospital, her death was unexpected. Levear was born April 16, 1923 in Bucyrus to the late Harold and Mabel (Shaw) Hall. She was formerly married to Romey Groves.
Levear is survived by daughter, Ida Smith of Bloomville; son, Romey Groves Jr. of Tiffin; grandchildren, Kevin, Terry, Mickey, Gail, Randy, Todd, Jill, and Debbie; several great and great great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Gardner of Bucyrus; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Jerry and Harold; two brothers; and one sister.
Levear worked for the Commission on Aging in Tiffin for over 20 years. She lived many years in the Tiffin and Bloomville areas. She was a fun loving person who enjoyed visiting with friends at McDonalds and playing the lottery.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4-7 pm. Expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
