Charles Dummitt Obituary
BUCYRUS: Charles R. Dummitt, 77, of Bucyrus, passed away on Wednesday at Marion General Hospital.

Mr. Dummitt was born December 28, 1932 in Lewis Co., KY to the late Hobert and Lillie (Silvey) Dummitt. He was married January 7, 1956 to Wilma (Toller) Dummitt who survives.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Kevin; and sister, Betty Petty.

Charles is also survived by son, Jeffrey (Judi) Dummitt of Marion; daughter, Vanessa (Frank) Heinlen of Nevada; grandchildren, Kyla, Marion; Rachel, Nevada; Megan, Nevada; and Kirk Wade and Shannon Fohl both of Marion; four great grandchildren, McKenna Fohl, Austin, Kyle, and Kevin Wade; brother, Mike (Bea) Dummitt, Cincinnati; sister, Janice Cropper, Maysville, KY; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Dummitt was a retired self employed Truck Driver. Charles attended Lewis Co. H.S. and was a Korean Air Force Veteran, he moved to Bucyrus in 1966. Mr. Dummitt attended the Marion Rd. Church of Christ.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Maynard Moser officiating and Charles' two nephews assisting. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery with Military services provided by the American Legion. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday where the family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Memorials may be given to the Cr. Co. Humane Society through the funeral home, and expressions of sympathy may be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
