BUCYRUS: Our HERO, Justin Adams went home to his Heavenly Father at 2:25 am, July 21, 2012. He fought a courageous battle with Melanoma for several years.

He is survived by his wife, Kasandra Adams; step-daughter, Isabella Vanscoy; and daughter, Lilianna Adams.

Justin is the son of Melanie Adams, FL, and Mark and Kay Adams of Stillwater, OK; and brother of, Trent and Becca Adams, PA; Also surviving are grand parents, Bill and Dee Sharrock, and Lowell and Kathleen Adams; great-grandma Rose Beck, deceased.

Justin was the proud uncle of Alexis Adams, and Elizabeth Adams; Aunts and Uncles include, Keith (Connie) Adams, Eric (Becky) Adams, Gregg (Donna) Adams, Marcia (Adams) Bishop and husband Randy, Todd Adams, Lana (Adams) Hetzel and husband Cliff, Charlene (Sharrock) Ley and husband Greg, Dave Sharrock, Jay (Tina) Sharrock; Justin was blessed with many cousins, Kyle(Ashley)Adams, Josh (Lori) Adams,Kiley (Adams) Aidt and husband Aaron, Kimberly Adams and fiancee Justin Motter, Kevin Adams, Linda Adams, Sarah Adams, Katie (Bishop) Blankenship, Kristina (Bishop) Bentley and husband Justin, Jeremy Bishop, Alec Hetzel, Gabrielle Hazel, Jessalynn and husband Scott Bryant, Jerika Wagner, Adrianne Sharrock, and Nicolas Sharrock,

Justin was born February 18, 1981 in OK. Later on he moved back to Ohio with his mother and attended Colonel Crawford High School from which he graduated in 1999. He attending a modeling school and modeled for a couple of years and then ventured to Boston where he lived for a short while before moving to Florida.

In 2003 he joined the Army and became a Staff Sargent in the 503rd MP Airborne Unit out of Ft. Bragg, He served three tours in Iraq and enjoyed playing with the children there. He was wounded several times while there, saved and lost too many buddies but through it all he somehow managed to lift the spirits of those around him and was able to motivate them to keep moving forward.

He was a Purple Heart recipient. He returned in 2007 to Ft. Bragg and began his long-term career in the Army. He chose to stay in as an Army recruiter and moved to Chicago where he served as a recruiter and started schooling for a Criminal Justice career.

In 2010 he was diagnosed with stage 3 Melanoma.

He was married on June 23', 2010 to Kasandra Vanscoy in a civil ceremony with friends attending.

Justin lived life to the fullest! He loved his Ohio State Buckeyes and the Chicago Blackhawks hockey team where he attended many games and was even honored for his military service by the team!

He loved traveling with his grandparents, playing baseball, motor cross racing, being at the beach and hanging with friends. He loved his dogs, cats, and amazing fish collections both saltwater and freshwater.

His life was his family. He loved his wife and daughters and always tried to put them first! Unfortunately like many other soldiers he left Iraq with many demons that tried to destroy him but he always pushed forward and never gave up!

He was always thinking of others and never liked the focus on himself. His hope was to someday serve in the FBI.

For the last two years of his life he fought a courageous battle with cancer, never giving up and trying to make his many surgeries and tests as light-hearted as he could never giving in to the possibility that he would lose this battle.

He will be given a full military honors burial at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA.
