To the Johnson Family, I have just recently learned of Ray's passing and I am so sorry to hear it. My heart and prayers go out to you. Ray was one of the best guys put here on earth with us. I had the pleasure of meeting Ray or "Homer" as my late husband Pete would call him, about 34 years ago and he was one to always make you laugh and smile. I know Pete thought the world of him and the great times that they had working in the Whirlpool warehouse together for many years. I know between the two of them and the many pranks that were conducted inside those walls, its a wonder the place is still standing! Pete passed 18 years ago on December 6th and I know he was right there waiting for him, welcoming him into heaven, so the mischef could begin again. He will be greatly missed by all those who were fortunate to have met him and he will always be remembered with a smile in our hearts.

Ray was the first person to help me when I came to Marion. I locked my keys in my car in McDonalds parking lot one morning , and Ray unlocked it and wouldn't take a dime. Many thanks to a great man! My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
