David M. Kalb

BUCYRUS: David M. Kalb, 67 of Bucyrus passed away on Wednesday evening in Bucyrus Community Hospital, his death was unexpected.

He was born on July 20, 1945 in Bucyrus to the late Sylvanus E. and Arlene P. (Brown) Kalb. On July 8, 1972, he married Carolyn Sue "Susie" (Studer) who preceded him in death on Jan. 13, 1992.

David is survived by his mother in law Ladora Studer of New Washington; sisters and brothers in law Urban (Gale) Studer of Bucyrus, Mrs. Philip (Marjorie) Powell of Bucyrus, Jean (Ed) Rowe of Iberia Mrs. Roy (Doris) King of New Washington, Mrs. Louis (Julia) Sanders of Attica, James L. Studer of Willard, Therese Karl of North Auburn, Mrs. Russell (Brenda) Kehres of North Auburn, Mrs. David (Patricia) Franken of Dublin, Mrs. Greg (Shirley) Rotruck of Attica, Mark (Amy) Studer of Dublin; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by father in law Urban Studer; brother in law, Clem Karl; and sister in law, Dianne Studer.

David graduated Buckeye Central Class of 1963. He retired from the State of Ohio and formerly worked Galion Iron Works. He member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and was a former Sheriff's Deputy Reserve. David truly enjoyed having fun with his family.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 9th, 2013 at 10:30 am in the Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father John Miller as Celebrant; burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery in New Washington. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5-8 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with a Wake Service to be held at 7:45 pm.
