Terry Etzinger Obituary

Terry L. Etzinger

BUCYRUS: Terry L. Etzinger, 74, of Bucyrus passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, surrounded by his family, the most important thing in his life, following a very courageous battle with cancer.

Terry was born July 10, 1940 in Bucyrus to the late Harold and Dorothy (Culver) Etzinger. He was married October 16, 1959 to his soulmate and love of his life Kristina (Kauble) Etzinger who survives. Terry knew after the second date that Kristina was the love of his life and soulmate. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother Richard Etzinger.

Terry is also survived by children Tina (Frank) Jerger, Toni (Elvis Torres) Ard and Terry L. Etzinger II (Kathy) all of Bucyrus; grandchildren Nicholas (Sarah) Ard, Kylene Etzinger, Brandon Ard, Lindsey (Jeramiah) Johnson, Terry Etzinger III, Jade Torres; four great grandchildren, Chloe, Preston, Micah and Isabel Ard; sisters, Margie Kline and Kathy Friend both of Bucyrus and Sherry Stevens of Harpster; and his loving dog "Schultz".

Terry was without a doubt a people person. Terry was a kindhearted and generous man that would do anything for anyone, even a complete stranger. He loved people so much that it would take him hours and hours just to go to the store for milk. Terry could make conversation with anyone he met. Terry would never hold a grudge, he always saw the good in people, and he never focused on the bad. Terry loved to tell jokes; he would always have a joke to tell no matter what. Terry had two favorite things he would do: he loved to drink his coffee and to watch the Cleveland Browns. The most important part of Terry's life was his family. He loved his family more than anything in the world. Terry spent his whole life being a giver, and when someone was in need he would be there to help in any way he could. Terry would help and help, but never ask for anything in return. Terry was the rock of his family, and always found a way to make everything alright. Terry was a man with a big heart and strong character. Terry will missed by many, but his shining personality will never be forgotten.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 1:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 3-5 and 6-8pm. Expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com

To the Etzinger Family, you have my condolences. I used to "baby sit" Terry & Dick with their sister, Margie. We all had a lot of fun. I lived right across the street when the family lived in the old stone double on the corner of E Lucas and Hopley. Fond memories. Judy Judd
