To Jed: Thinking about you today and always. You are truly missed and loved by so many. Our family has a hole in it since you Jody and Poppy left. I know one day we will all be together to share laughter and memories and live in the light of heaven for eternity. Love from your sister in law, Patty

In the late 1970's Jed would often pass through the baseball diamonds at Edison Elementary where our group of friends would gather regularly for pick-up games of baseball. He was few years older than us, but he could throw a baseball father than we could hit one. We'd heard rumors that out of high school, he was being scouted by the big leagues. RIP Jed.

I met Jed while we were student-athletes at Northwest Missouri State University way back in 1977. If I had to use just one word to describe him it would be gregarious. Always fun to be around! I will never forget Jed.

Jed and I worked in the menswear business in a couple different venues. He was a "Gentleman's Gentleman" in every regard and his professionalism was clear to me from the minute I met him. In addition, in private he had a tremendous sense of humor and shared many hilarious moments.
I always wondered how he fared in life and I was saddened to read of his passing.
He will be sorely missed.

Christa, Matt, Michael, Brett, and other members of the family,
So very sorry to hear of this sudden tragic news with the loss of Jed. My deepest sympathies to all of you.
The times we've gotten together with you and Jed were and always will remain happy and pleasant memories. Will never forget our reunion at Lake Morey, Vt back in 2000 and the fun we had with our extended families. I think I even went golfing with Jed during that time. He was always great company and a great person.
(Also respectfully from Christa and Allan Buergin, Eatontown, NJ)

I didn't know him well but the chance meetings at the golf course or the occasional sport coat or suit he sold me were enough to impress the mettle of this man. Jed was gracious, quick to share a smile or a quip, loved competition and had a heart as big as his person. I will miss those chance meetings but sense that somewhere beyond Jed is setting up a match or measuring for a suit and bringing smiles to those fortunate to call him friend. His was a class act.

To one on the best men on earth. A true friend for life that was a great father, husband and grandfather. He loved his life, he loved to golf and he loved to have a good time. So many memories of New years Eve, Christmas Eve and out times at Syms. My heart aches. You will be missed by so many. RIP "PUP" !!
