Funeral Services commencing at the DANIEL R. SMOLAREK FUNERAL HOME, 2047 Broadway, Village of Sloan, Saturday at 9:30 AM and in St. Andrew's R.C. Church, Sloan at 10 AM. Entombment in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. The family will be present to receive relatives and friends Thursday and Friday 2-4 and 6-8 PM. John was a member of the St. Andrew's Holy Name Society, St. Vincent De Paul Society, Pvt. Leonard Post VFW Post #6251, served in the Army 817 Tank Destroyer Battalion during WWII and was a Pipefitter for 39 years at Harrison Radiator. ZAK - Leonard D. April 28, 2015, age 67, beloved husband of Linda M. (nee Sawicki) Zak; loving father of Scott P. (Carrie) Zak and Kimberly A. (John Zygaj) Zak; cherished grandfather of Athena, Scott and Casey; caring brother of Daniel (Dolores) Zakroczemski and predeceased by Irene (late Stanley) Piantkowski, Angeline (late Joseph) Szczepanek, Rita (late Lester) Adanowich, Frank Zakroczemski, Jr. and Richard Zakroczemski; dear son-in-law of Rita T. (nee Skopinski) Sawicki; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
