PAYNE - Lois R. (nee Dodds) May 25, 2016; of Clarence, NY. Born and raised in Kenmore, NY. Wife of the late Howard L. Payne Jr.; beloved mother of Howard L. Payne III, Pamela (Dr. Maurice) Gelia and Carolyn Payne; loving grandmother of Hillary A. (Probese) Leo and Laura A. Payne; sister of the late Shirley (Albert) Reilly; also survived by many nieces and nephews. A memorial visitation Saturday May 28th, 10-11 AM with an immediate memorial service following at the Clarence United Methodist Church, 10205 Greiner Rd. (corner of Strickler Rd.). PENGELLY - Wayne Lester Age 71, died Saturday, May 21, 2016, peacefully at home surrounded by family. He leaves his wife of 13 years, Mary (Carle) Pengelly; his daughter, Megan Drulard (Ned); his sons, Shane Pengelly (Suzanne) and Tyler Pengelly; his brother, Dennis Pengelly (Kathy); his niece Danielle and nephew Jeff; and six grandchildren; his dog Dakota and many close friends. Born and raised in Buffalo, NY, the son of Lester and Evelyn Pengelly, Wayne resided in the Raleigh area for the last 30 years. Wayne was an Eagle Scout who continued his passion for the outdoors by being an avid boater, fisherman and hunter. Wayne was also active in his community as a volunteer firefighter in Eggertsville, NY, serving as Army reservist and earning a President's Volunteer Service Award in 2012. Wayne achieved his Bachelor's degree in Architecture in 1975 from the University of Buffalo. He owned his own architecture and construction firm, Blayne Construction, in NY for six years before moving to Raleigh, NC to begin working as an architect for IBM. He retired following 25 years of service. Wayne's sense of humor, contagious laughter and smile will be greatly missed by all. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 11:00 AM, Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh, NC. The family will receive guests immediately following the service. PETRINEC - Michael S. May 18, 2016, age 76, beloved husband of 20 years to Cynthia M. (nee Roskwitalski) Petrinec; devoted father of Steven, Kevin (Darla), Raymond (Alicia) and Scott (Becky); loving grandfather of Amanda, Shannon, Sean, Emily, Kristen, Ethan, Grace, Kevin and Venice; dear brother of nine siblings. PFEFFER - Shirley Age 86, of Kenmore, passed away on May 23, 2016. She was a retired Nurse's Aid from ECMC and former volunteer from Kenmore Mercy Hospital. Shirley is survived by her children: Linda (Dennis) Schihl, Brenda (Rodney) Dabolt, Paula Latz, and Jack (Gretchen) Latz; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one niece and two nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Friday from 4-8 PM at LESTER H. WEDEKINDT INC., FUNERAL HOME, 3290 Delaware Ave, Kenmore. Funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Elmlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
