BABCOCK - Elbert D. Elbert D. Babcock, a mailman and WWII Navy veteran, died Friday, April 29, 2016, at the age of 93, in his home under the care of his family and Hospice. Elbert was born in Buffalo and served in the Navy. Elbert retired from the US Postal Service in 1998 after serving for 32 years. Mary (Csont) and Elbert were married for 43 years before she died in 2000. Elbert enjoyed golfing plus birdwatching and walking his faithful canine friends. Survivors include his brother, William of Tavares, Florida; his daughter, Heidi Spellman (Steven) of Colorado Springs and his son, Perry (Linda) of Orchard Park. He will be missed by his grandchildren, Bri'anna Spellman Kadera, Justin Babcock, Mallory Spellman Lockhart and Marissa Babcock; plus great-grandchildren, Ethan and Lucy Lockhart and his faithful companion to the end, Molly. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, May 3 at 7:00 PM at the Orchard Park Presbyterian Church, 4369 South Buffalo Road, Orchard Park, NY where the family will greet friends immediately following the service. Flowers are gratefully declined; however, a donation to the Buffalo Pug and Small Breed Rescue is encouraged. Arrangements by F.E. BAUMANN - Jeanette Age 84, passed away Tuesday, April 5th, 2016, in Wheatfield, New York. She is survived by her three sons, Michael, Gary, and Martin; her four grandchildren, Judy, Jeffrey, Alyson, and Jack; her sister Marcella Wrazen, and her longtime friend, Steve Alfano and the Alfano family. She was predeceased by her former husband, Martin; partner, Armondo Pietrocarlo, and sisters Alice Olen and Marie Turina. She chose to donate her body to the SUNY Buffalo medical program for the advancement of science. Jeanette was a uniquely funny, warm, and loving person who died gracefully and touched everyone she met.
