Lankes - Edmund J. January 21, 2015, age 90, of Getzville, peacefully at home, husband of 53 years of Elaine (nee Urban) Lankes; brother-in-law of Roberta and Lorraine Urban; also survived by several nieces and nephews. There is no visitation. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 10 AM Friday (January 30) at the Newman Center at the University of Buffalo, 495 Skinnersville Rd. in Amherst. If desired, memorials to Hospice Buffalo are preferred. Mr. Lankes was an Army Veteran of WW II and had been a district sales manager for the Genesee Brewing Company before retiring.
