GNIEWECKI - Anthony J. "Tony" October 5, 2012, survived by his brother, Thaddeus "Teddy" (Alice); predeceased by his brothers, Frank "Sammy", baby Stanley, John "Turk", Walter "Scotty", Stanley "Pee Wee", Alexander (Wanda) and his sisters, Mary (Edward) Borowski and Joanna; survived by nieces, nephews and his Pupka Dupka. The family will be present to receive friends Sunday 1-6 PM at the DANIEL R. SMOLAREK FUNERAL HOME, 2047 Broadway, Village of Sloan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 10:30 AM in Andrew's R.C. Church (corner of Reiman & Crocker Sts.). Please assemble at church. Entombment in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Tony was a POW in WWII and was awarded a Silver Service Star for taking part in five battle campaigns, WWII Victory Medal and Good Conduct Medal. Send condolences to
